The aid campaign for Ukraine did happen as planned: Our boss Michel drove the fully packed truck all the way to Lviv in Ukraine and handed over the donations to an aid organization, which then took care of the transport to the east of the country.
The great support with donations exceeded all of our expectations: We received so many suitcases full of clothing, shoes, sleeping bags, bedclothes, hygiene products and much more at the Yellotools headquarters in Windeck that we quickly converted our recently renovated barn into a warehouse for all the donated goods. In addition, there were pallets full of pairs of socks from the charity sale and our quickly produced ovens for preparing hot drinks and food during the cold winter.
We sincerely thank all the donors and volunteers who made this aid transport possible with their commitment. Networking via social media contributed significantly to the fact that offers of support reached us from near and far so that we were able to receive specific donations which will now help the people in the war zone during winter time.
We are all united by the hope for this war to end soon and for the restoration of peaceful coexistence between all people of Ukraine and its neighbouring countries in the West and East.
